In the meantime clouds had spread all over the sky and the first band of rain was visible on the horizon. Even the very mild climate in January with a day temperature of about 15 \u00b0C can have one or two rainy days. But there are no longer periods of bad weather. Thus I set off optimistically to take pictures before the arranged meeting with the president of the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.ducatisardiniadoc.it\/it\/index.php\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">DUCATI Sardinia DOC<\/a> Franz Sardokan at <a href=\"http:\/\/www.caesarshotel.it\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Caesar\u2019s Hotel<\/a> . It was there the final rehearsal of `<a href=\"http:\/\/www.ducatisardiniadoc.it\/it\/eventi\/calendario\/festa-di-inizio-anno-2018-orari-e-riferimenti\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Festa di I had been invited to get to know the-as far as I\u00b4m concerned- utterly new conditions, in order to be able to prepare myself for the reporting the next evening at the big party. All in all a big challenge, particularly as everything was held in Italian and I currently only have a basic knowledge of the language. Nonetheless, I understood some things and could give some tips concerning the arrangement of the room, particularly for an appealing presentation of the gorgeous <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ducati.com\/it\/it\/home\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Ducati<\/a> motorcycles. There were partly new models but also current racing motorcycles of Club members, to give the event an appropriate setting. We were continuously asked by friends of those present, who wanted to know a little about what would happen on the next day \u2013 grin.[\/vc_column_text]<div class=\"wpb_content_element ut-gallery-5 class=\"clear\"><\/div><\/div><\/div>[vc_column_text]The tasks were clearly distributed and they meticulously went through the upcoming event. The Webmaster of <a href=\"http:\/\/www.ducatisardiniadoc.it\/it\/index.php\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">DUCATI Sardinia DOC<\/a> Francesco Vacca was responsible for the entire technical aspect. This included the presentation itself as well as light and sound. Doriano Mucelli, who acted as the speaker, together with Franz will host the evening. There was a lot of discussion and laughter and the whole program was replayed until after midnight. Besides that, we also designed the stage, positioned the motorcycles, hung up banners, stacked trophies and medals and eventually ate about 2 meters of pizza. After this evening, which in itself was already an experience, and despite the successful final rehearsal- grin- there was nothing that stood in the way of a successful `<a href=\"http:\/\/www.ducatisardiniadoc.it\/it\/eventi\/calendario\/festa-di-inizio-anno-2018-orari-e-riferimenti\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Festa di inizio anno 2018<\/a>\u00b4.
